Our Southern Cobblers begin with a thick bottom layer of buttery crust. Filled with fresh seasonal fruit and topped with a thick buttery, cinnamon, and sugar crust that is baked to perfection resembling a southern deep-dish pie. Sweetz cobblers are made fresh to order.
Our Traditional Cobblers do not have a thick bottom layer of buttery crust. Instead, the delicious fruity dessert filling is poured into the pan first. Then a sweet buttery cinnamon and sugar biscuit dumpling batter is placed atop and baked until crisp and bubbly on all sides.
Please note: Cobblers will ship at the beginning of the week, so they don't sit in the mailroom over the weekend. Cobblers are shipped frozen.
Preparation instruction for online orders: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Remove plastic over-wrap and lid. Place frozen cobbler on a cookie sheet and place it in the center of the oven. Bake approximately 45-60 minutes (or until crust is golden-brown). Convection over, 325 degrees for 35 to 55 minutes. Remove baked cobbler from the oven on the cookie sheet, never by the edges of the pan. Serve warm.
